Deathternity talks about all things death related. There are 1 million+ owned graves in cemeteries in America that people will not use. Cemeteries do not buy graves back. I would encourage people to begin thinking about either selling or buying these graves at a deep discount to what your cemetery charges. Or you can donate unused graves for a tax deduction. If I can help you with this please contact me here, email me at deathternity@gmail.com, or call me at 215-341-8745. My fees vary.

The Burial Of The Dead: The Blessing - Episcopal Church Rite Two
Went to a funeral yesterday. This struck me:
THE BLESSING
Life is short,
and we do not have much time
to gladden the hearts of those
who travel the way with us.
So be swift to love.
Make haste to be kind.
And as we go,
may the blessing,
the love, the joy, and the peace,
of the Holy One Who is in the midst of us
be among you and remain with you always.
Amen.
AND:
Give rest, O Christ, to thy servant with they saints,
Where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing,
but life everlasting.
