It is expensive to die! A funeral is $5,000 minimum and can be much much more expensive ($15,000 before you blink, and up). That doesn't count the cemetery. Burial can be another $6,000 minimum and can also be much much more expensive. So you're looking at $11,000 and maybe MUCH more. Are you prepared for this? Who's paying this? You? Your kids? Your family? Do your loved ones a big favor and figure this out, and pay for it, before you die! It is very hard to do the above after you've died. Your survivors will be grieving.
Insurance might be an answer. It's not for everyone. Make sure that there is an inflation allowance, as death will be more expensive in the future.
Deathternity talks about all things death related. There are 1 million+ owned graves in cemeteries in America that people will not use. Cemeteries do not buy graves back. I would encourage people to begin thinking about either selling or buying these graves at a deep discount to what your cemetery charges. Or you can donate unused graves for a tax deduction. If I can help you with this please contact me here, email me at deathternity@gmail.com, or call me at 215-341-8745. My fees vary.
