Thoreau:
"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and die with their song still inside them."
Deathternity talks about all things death related. There are 1 million+ owned graves in cemeteries in America that people will not use. Cemeteries do not buy graves back. I would encourage people to begin thinking about either selling or buying these graves at a deep discount to what your cemetery charges. Or you can donate unused graves for a tax deduction. If I can help you with this please contact me here, email me at deathternity@gmail.com, or call me at 215-341-8745. My fees vary.

"Days End" Poem - Is Death Sleep?
"Days End" by Alden Nowlan
The last 2 lines read:
"I am young and strong but a great weariness is upon me --
I would be willing to die now if I were sure that death is sleep."

"Win A Free Funeral!" - Say What!? - What Does A Funeral/Burial Cost?
This is serious apparently. You can win $5,000 to pay for your funeral expenses. You have to agree to put "RunForYourLives.com" on your tombstone. And as I've discussed $5,000 will not cover all of your "funeral" expenses. If you consider "funeral" expenses to be the funeral home and all or your cemetery costs your minimum expenses will be about $10,000 for cremation and $15,000 minimum for traditional full-body burial. And up, and up, depending on your personal interests and choices.
So start your afterlife off right. Enter today. Because while you may have an eternity to celebrate your win, we need your entry by June 1.
ENTER TO WIN AN ALL—EXPENSES PAID FUNERAL!
Run For Your Lives wants you to rest in peace. So we’re making three lucky future corpses an offer to die for. If you agree to put our URL– RunForYourLives.com – on your tombstone, we’ll pay for your funeral.*
Three winners will be selected in a random drawing. If your number comes up, you’ll win a $5,000 check for that special day. You don’t have to die anytime soon. You’ll get your check immediately to remind you and your family every day of your inevitable end.

Titanic Cemetery for Burial of Titanic Dead
Of all the dead from the Titanic, 169 of them are buried in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. 121 of those are in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, a non-denominational cemetery run by the Parks Department of the Halifax Regional Municipality. The graves form the design of a ship's bow.
Of 2,223 passengers 1,517 died, and most of those were behind a locked gate in third class. Hundreds if not thousands of families were destroyed and devastated. Of 899 crew members, 685 of them died.
